Oh yes, it was wonderful to step into the past and especially into my favorite time period. What did I learn from prancing around in a hooped Civil War era evening gown at our local Historical Society fashion show? That 19th century women of class had to (very carefully) choose their fabrics for dresses! Mine weighed a ton, or so it felt. None-the-less, a hoop is a lovely, airy and lightweight undergarment, not to mention the beautiful vision it creates!

The first 100 pages of TP II will now be scrutinized by these eyes, and seriously tweaked.
